LED floor lamp with floating shade Hover by Lodes Hover by Lodes is a minimalist floor lamp with a very special designer touch. The designer of the lamp wanted to create an optical illusion with this model and they succeeded. The lampshade was not fixed to the base as is usually the case, but a few centimeters above it. This creates the illusion that the lampshade is floating above the base. The base and diffuser are connected by a white, thin and stable metal rod. The lampshade consists of a very special foil, made of paper and polymer film. Inside the screen there is a 2700k LED that diffuses 1000lm. At the upper end of the metal rod there is an LED touch dimmer, with which the light intensity can be regulated or the Hover floor lamp can be switched on and off. There is no conventional power plug on the power cable, but a USB connector. The Hover floor lamp is also available as a matching table lamp.

Consisting of rounded shapes, the 185cm high lamp spreads a direct light upwards and a glare-free light downwards. On the upper side of the floor lamp there are a total of 128 LED points that together spread 5100lm upwards. On the lower side, on the other hand, there are a total of 96 LED points that spread a total of 1900lm and are glare-free thanks to the grid optics. The luminaire is equipped with Dim to Warm technology, whereby the LED spreads at 100% a total of 5200lm with a light color of 3200k.
