Flo is the result of the first collaboration between Lumina and Foster+Partners: its design is minimalist and timeless, with fine and precise detailing integrated in a streamlined form.
The most advanced LED technology glamorizes this range of lamps for desk, bedside, clamp and floor. It is made of varnish coated aluminium. Flos is elegant and has a refined appearance, it is characterized by the elimination of superflous moving parts and by its reduced vulume: its silhouette has been minimised. Helping the light to almost disappear in the room.
Lumina began with an idea from Tommaso Cmimini who designed the Daphine in a basement in 1973. Lumina was officially established in 1975 with the intention of designing and building light fixtures that “could dress nothing more than what is necessary”.
