Pendant lamp Chouchin 3 reverese by Foscarini

Simple and stylish, Chouchin teams unique craft-based expertise with a modern and strikingly simple style. The Chouchin family comprises 3 models with a coloured matt glass body. Beside the first version a new one is born: Chouchin reverse. The shapes are the same but the colours have been inverted; the diffuser is now white while the collar stays the same colour as the previous shape. It is not just about a new colour, but rather a new light, a new use even. All the versions can be used individually or in highly scenic compositions: the perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

The Foscarini keynote is research, into forms and materials, as well as ideas. Established in 1981 in Venice, Foscarini started out by exploring the opportunities offered by Murano glass. Their typical shapes have been reinterpreted in a pure contemporary style, using an age-old material: blown glass that has been painted on the inside (with exception of the lower rim) to make it completely opaque and glossy from the outside. The  result combines a warm colouring, textured and precious, with a luminous collar that projects an intense, direct beam of light downwards. The family includes three shapes, each with its own colour: orange for the large version, grey for the small version and green for the elongated one. The shape and shade accentuate the individuality of each model, coloured in tones that  ombine beautifully with each other when used in multiple compositions.
